I had that same experience, too, many years ago doing the anti-depressant circuit.

Ugh, no bueno

This should be a motivational poster.

Fascinating. Do you have sexual urges?
As for me, a lot of changes. Age being a big culprit for a lot of them. Since I posted last it hasn’t happened again. I’ve just chalked it up to being tired, stressed, and trying to make something happen my mind wasn’t really into at the moment.

Yeah, your experience more accurately reflects the term. I should have used the term ‘ejaculatory anhedonia’ or maybe a more generalized ‘orgasmic anhedonia’ but I couldn’t find a consensus on the terms online.
Of course, there’s probably a big difference between a pathological condition of being aroused, performing the sex acts in earnest, but not receiving pleasure from it and just having lousy sex you’re not into with partners who aren’t good at it. Or, like you said, you just can’t get there because the mental aspect is lacking.
Though I did note that, like men, there is evidence of women experiencing orgasms without pleasure, but it’s harder to observe. Sounds like a cop out to me. Sure it’s easy to spot some dude’s dribble, but you could easily measure vaginal contractions with a device.
Don’t jump to conclusions, it’s probably just a drug deal.
Wera makes a ratchet-hammer. I don’t know how to post pictures here but you can look it up. It’s an abomination but apparently people like it.

The magic one for sure. I have no doubt that I would not only recover my memories of past lives but would ascend to much greater heights, perhaps grasping immortality itself.
All the amazing adventures to bizarre worlds await.
With dimensional and time travel, shapeshifting, I might even come back to this world. Maybe I’d turn my other self into newt and take his place. Or imbue him with forbidden knowledge and power. Or take him with me. Or maybe we’d just end up having a bunch of freaky shifting magic sex.
“Hey me, it’s you, from a world of magic. I’m here to rescue you.”
“Wow, how unexpected. Also, you’re hot.”
“Baby, I’m about to blow your mind.”

Can’t say I like that.

Interesting. Why haven’t you?

Word

Yeah, I got a bankruptcy amount of issues to see the doc about. Trying to put it off until I am out of debt (so I can accrue fresh debt).

No, try to stay off that stuff

Great, I’ll just add that to the list of other potentially lethal conditions I’ve been avoiding the doctor about.

That sounds terrible. I was prescribed something for an enlarged prostate a few years ago but after it ran out I just quit drinking so much water before bed and it resolved the frequent trips in the night
No, nothing drug related it’s just circumstantial. 11 days straight so far working out of state. Exhausted and missing a few hours of sleep. Cranky and want to be home.
Wanted to knock one out before going to bed as a little stress reliever. Even scrounged through some videos but nothing was really keeping my interest. Then my body was like ‘surprises! alright, you’re done, wrap it up’. And there was no rush or even like that little internal sigh you get. Just a blank space where the orgasm usually goes.
And a really weird, persistent feeling of uncomfortableness inside.

It is, but it’s the functional kind. And the landlord doesn’t give a fuck about your problems so you got turn life’s lemons into lemon pepper chicken to pay that rent.

Oh it is. But there’s drugs and trauma-bonding, so that helps. Plus, it pays a few more bucks than minimum wage.
It also conveys a permanent +10 bonus to your rizz so you can sleep with the slutty front of house.
Somewhere between the borders of desperation and total burnout there is a sweet spot where you realize you are performing at a higher level than you ever have, higher than most ever will, and the satisfaction compensates for the lack of pay and the life destroying vices you need to employ in order to cope with the constant stress.
Good times.

Imagine straddling the line between performing at your absolute best, pushed to the limit of your abilities, and living in a complete horror show of a shift. All your cylinders are firing, your brain is running 110%, your body is alive. It is up to you, and the crew you trained, to impose order onto chaos by performing a complex symphony of actions in a tightly coordinated team.
Yes, tensions are high, but everyone is digging in, summoning their grit, and working together to tackle any upset in the highly demanding flow of food. There is laughing, cursing, anger, worry, joy, comradery. It’s a high drama marathon that challenges you, makes you perform at your best every day. You know the complete despair and panic when it falls apart and you know the sweet satisfaction as the rush dies down and you and your team did it, against all odds, once again.
When you look out the window and see the hordes of people eagerly awaiting to enjoy a great meal with their friends and family and you look over at the people already served and see the absolute bliss on their faces as they dig in…
You. You made that happen.

This is only the tip of the iceberg.
In a few years all pics, movies, music, books, news, anything and anyone you don’t see in person will be completely indistinguishable from AI. And most of it will be.
You won’t even know if the Senator’s face on your tv screen belongs to a real person.
The new front on the “war” for/on your minds will open. A culmination of all physical, informational, cultural, economic, narrative, and digital reality control systems will converge.
Even more so than now, people will have no choice but to embrace whatever schema of reality they can access because there will be no way to discern real truth from the manufactured.
Paranoia will eventually give way to a rather natural “double think” envisioned by Orwell. Tropey but nevertheless prophetic.
Blink twice if Mrs. Baseball is in the room with you now.
