Yep, that made sense when it was a “mere” microcontroller, but in computerland it’s not the best option. Actually it’s bad. There are add-ons that can be attached, but I doubt you can stuff them in there.
So, the competition (from Google in this case) really works miracles.
Indeed. However the root problem were CPU and other hw drivers AFAIK, not Google. Making their own SoC made it possible to bypass those greedy manufacturers and extend support.
Please don’t give them ideas. They have to fix core issue first - catalogue quality where albums from same named bands are often attributed to wrong ones.
Sadly, it would mean a catastrophe for Ukraine if US stops weapons delivery. We already saw this scenario which resulted in fall of Avdiivka and other huge problems for Ukraine. Heck, EU isn’t even capable of producing enough shells plus there is a lot of weapons that have US parts and would be denied to use, such as Storm Shadow and similar.
As an European, I concur.
Congratulations, you won the Miss Universe title with winning phrase “I want the peace in the world”.
I still hope for an one way ticket to Mars on starship. These brilliant people should be the first to have that privilege.
I just love the emphasis that this is not a good thing.
Cruise missiles Russia sends daily are also capable of delivering nuclear warheads. Just saying.
Same France that is concerned about “antisemitism” after the Amsterdam lies? I think your doubts are in place. Edit: Save -> Same
Woot? In reality nothing will happen since US has their backs. Sadly so, other countries will tap each other on shoulders on how they solved the problem while Palestinians and others will be killed as usual.
I guess it does…but only when you’re two years late to quit 🤷♂️
Like more than additional storage and memory prices?
I’d really like to see this. However I don’t have high hopes when looking at the current state in Slovenia, where Microsoft is deeply rooted in all public and non public sectors, starting from schools. Most know only Windows and Word while they don’t distinguish between the two and schools system doesn’t give a shit about teaching anything about computers let alone non Microsoft. One of the reasons is, of course, teachers being computer illiterate or … know only Microsoft. And so on and so forth.
One reason could be possible US restrictions and sanctions.
Don’t want to diverge the thread in nitpicking, but it’s not just one country and some countries play both sides.
Yes, there should be sanctions against any country doing that and worse. But there aren’t. Why not? I see a lot of downvotes and no explanations. As per Europe, aren’t we talking mostly about US, since Linux is trying to follow their sanctions? Also even Europe is divided about who the enemy is, like pesky Hungary.
This trick gets rid of Israelis for you. Wish more countries follows Ireland, but who am I kidding, right.
