Okay, great, let us know if you need a hand dismantling U.S. bases in Europe

Well, looking at the polls, almost every country is at risk; the right is gaining ground everywhere. Today it’s five countries, but tomorrow there could very well be more. I don’t think kicking them out is the best solution (not least because, as an Italian, I’d prefer it if you didn’t leave us to our fate)

The fact that Germany has attracted people from other EU countries in the past does not mean it will be able to do so forever.
The problem of underpaid labor can be solved by increasing oversight of businesses and punishing employers who exploit these people, because the crime is exploitation, not accepting appalling working conditions because one has no other choice.
In Italy, there are many Indians who own their own businesses, such as electronics stores or restaurants—to name the most common ones. It seems strange to me that in Germany they are only employees and not business owners.

There’s a demographic crisis in every EU country. There’s a shortage of people across Europe. So Germany can’t just attract other EU citizens and drain the other member states of their population.

Have you tried running Heroic from the terminal? Do you get any error messages?

That reminds me of the scene in the simpsons where the lawyer imagines a world without lawyers
ntfs is the Windows file system, which can cause problems on linux. I recommend downloading the game again to an ext4 partition, which is compatible with both windows and linux. For me, practically all games work with proton experimental.
Step-by-step guide:
Have you ever tried installing Linux Mint on that PC? I’m not asking to encourage you to try it, but just to get your opinion. I consider Mint one of the best operating systems for breathing new life into old PCs, and I wanted to know if (assuming you’ve tried Mint) you think Windows is roughly on par with it in terms of performance.
I don’t run Windows at all. I’m probably not up to date on the latest developments, the last time I checked, there was a compatibility check for your hardware. Anyway, it seems strange to me that Windows would run fast on an old machine—are you sure about that?
Like when they force you to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11, but your computer isn’t powerful enough to run the latter.

However, it has a better healthcare system than the United States

That’s not true; they trade freely with Japan, South Korea, and the U.S. (which has bases in the Pacific), and I think they trade with other countries without any problems as well. Their chips are shipped all over the world.

I might be wrong, but I don’t think China has imposed an embargo on Taiwan

Yes, well, there are people who have lived abroad for generations, speak the local language, and don’t know Italian, but hold Italian citizenship simply because one of their great-great-grandparents was Italian. Meanwhile, people born and raised in Italy who know the language and the local dialect aren’t recognized as citizens simply because their parents aren’t Italian.
I get some cracked games on Linux by creating a bottle with Fit-Girl inside. However, you have to configure the bottle correctly from the start; sometimes changing the bottle settings can break things on the bottle itself. It’s not as straightforward as downloading a game from Steam, I’ll admit, but it’s not that difficult either. Obviously, you might run into some issues the first time around, but once you get the hang of it, it’s pretty simple.

If I were the president of FIFA, after hearing these words, I would award Trump the Nobel Peace Prize uwu
Ciao, first of all, there are games that use kernel-level anti-cheat software that will not work. The good news is that many companies, seeing the growth of the Linux market, are taking remedial action. For example, EA recently announced that it will adapt its anti-cheat software for Linux. For pirated games, you can install fit-girl with bottles and use bottles to run the games as well. Technically, they should work even after years, because bottles creates a container with all the dependencies it needs to run and is isolated from the rest of the OS. It probably won’t be easy to learn how to use Linux tools right away, but it’s mostly a matter of habit, so first of all, be patient if some things don’t work right away. If you have problems, you can always ask the community. For simpler problems, AI can also be useful.

In my language, “zio” means uncle, and, in my region, we use “zio” instead of “Dio” (God) to avoid blasphemy. Like: zio cane (uncle dog), zio porco (uncle pork).
So the title made me laugh
Zio terrorist
And I don’t use the terminal every day and install apps from the application manager.
If you have chosen a distro that forces you to use the terminal or install apps from source code, that’s your choice, not a condition for all Linux users.
Well, if you’ve always been a Windows user, I think it’s normal to have trouble with another operating system. You certainly can’t expect to just install it and know how to do everything. You probably learned to use Windows when you were young, when your mind was more flexible, which is why it seems easier to you. I’ve also noticed that many users tend to ignore problems on Windows, while highlighting those on Linux; I think this is because they expect errors on Linux. Linux actually has error handling that Windows can only dream, you can log everything and trace the root cause of the problem. With Windows, often the only option you have is to reboot and hope the problem goes away.
