I have some sets, though not from this brand. It’s better than, say, a decade ago. But still not near Lego standards. There are still ill fitting pieces.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•On new installations, Android rebinds the power button to open up Google Assistant
22·15 days agoNot just new installations. It also happened on my phone when Android was updated. Thanks OP for also posting where to fix this!

Technology@lemmy.world•1X Neo is a $20,000 home robot that will learn chores via teleoperation
5·20 days agoI don’t want this. I just want a robot that can fold laundry. I don’t care if it can only fold 80% of it and if it takes all day for a single basket. I’d happily pay 1-2K for it too!
I like an optional progression grind. For example, when I’m stuck because I suck, I like having the option to grind a few levels and come back stronger. That’s why I really hate games that scale enemies with your level. That just means I’m still stuck!

PC Gaming@lemmy.ca•PC gaming boom: Steam sets new record with 41.6 million concurrent players
94·1 month agoYes there is, you’re just used to it. There’s all the Windows 11 annoyances, anti-virus, fiddling with controller setting and blue tooth, GPU drivers, DirectX crap. It’s easy for you but if your tech experience is basically just turning on your phone then that is a lot.

Today I Learned@lemmy.world•Pregnancy starts to count before conception
841·1 month agoThe real problem is all those bullshit US “heartbeat” bills that put a cut-off on abortions at 6 weeks. They also count from LMP. So 6 weeks is just 2 weeks late for your next period. Basically by the time you find out you’re pregnant, you can’t get an abortion anymore.

I’ve been told it’s because some plastic bags are produced with fish oil or tallow added. They can smell it.

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•Leaving food on the counter - the absolute survey
5·1 month agoDutch omnivore. I will sometimes leave something on the counter overnight. Usually when I made a big pan of something which I can’t fit into the fridge. But it’s something that will be reheated/boiled. Like a soup or stew. My wife complains about it everytime I do that though 😄

Ask Lemmy@lemmy.world•What are some small inconstancies in your body that makes you unique?
3·1 month agoMy pinky fingers are curved sideways towards my rong fingers. They’re like little banana fingers. They also don’t bend easily. Despite that I’m still a pretty decent clarinet player, but I always play the mid c# on the left instead of the right so I don’t have yo bend my pinky.

2·1 month agoAh, that could be it. I played Don’t Starve on PS4, but Cult I bought on Steam. I know for sure that Cult has local coop.

Maybe try the Styx games? They’re on sale quite regularly. I liked the first one a lot!
