16·2 years agoEveryone recommend HomeAssistant and it’s great. An alternative that’s easier to implement if you’re using Apple HomeKit (on HomePod or Apple TV) is HomeBridge. It’s super easy to setup and becomes a bridge to make anything compatible HomeKit.

I like my canon with the megatank. No more cartridges. You can buy cheap 3rd party inks and refill when needed. It’s not open source but the drivers aren’t invasive. It has wifi but I didn’t set it up and just use usb.

3·2 years agoI ditched the cartridge crap for an eco tank and it’s great. You can even buy off brand Ink bottle for super cheap.
I read they’re doing a recall on the left bend one. The right bends are okay tho.
