I am permanently disfigured due to their negligence. One of my best friends was killed by their greed.
Publically disfiguring/killing a few CEOs would be awesome. Not only would it save lives, but also it would be hella fun.

It’s so confusing to me how you can be pro corporate- and police-reform, yet against vigilantism. Were you paying attention the last 4 years?
We had a broad based popular movement for police reform resulting in a mass popular uprising. People went so far as large scale property destruction in the name of reforming the police. A large majority of the population supported the movement at one point. And what did all that nonviolent effort get us? Not a speck of police reform to be found anywhere in this country.
Saying you want police reform through nonviolent means is a utopian vision, just like star trek. Come back to reality, read some history, the only way to reform these entrenched systems of power is through violence.
Yes you’ve made your point very clear, you accept genocide because it suits your domestic political desires.
Certainly the assassination of Ferdinand is a proximate cause of WWI, but there were much greater forces in play. The great powers had giant mechanized armies for the first time, they had plans for the deployment of millions on very strict deadlines, and they had the belief that failure to meet those deadlines would mean national destruction.
I think it is more plausible to argue that propaganda of the deed helped to end the gilded age and usher in the New Deal era, which was America’s golden era.
I also act under political desperation. Only under the most optimistic assumptions will electoralism be able to save us from climate change; currently the most likely outcome is human extinction. If the propaganda of the deed has only a 5% chance of saving us from our modern gilded age and the resultant climate-induced end of civilization, then I say it is a chance we must take for we are running out of serious options.
Murdering your nearest billionaire is ok.
In fact, I encourage it.
Your post ignores all of the flaws pointed out in the Princeton study that I mentioned. If you take more flaws into account I think the score will be far lower than 5/10.
But I am more curious about how your “path to fix the issues” will actually get implemented. I agree with your solutions, but they have no chance of being passed by Democrats or Republicans.
I think you are doing the meme of “How to draw an owl. Step 1: Draw the owl.”
So then, the obvious followup question:
Do we live in an actual democracy, or an oligarchy with the trappings of a democracy?
With the largest-ever electoral studies from Princeton and others concluding that “90% of the population has essentially no impact on government” and “Public opinion has near-zero impact on US law”, I believe it is the latter.
Tl;dr: do your civic duty and murder an oligarch
Higher networth = more points for a successful kill.
In a video game.
Freely? No, not completely.
But I will say how much I admire America’s founding fathers. They recognized their chains, killed their oligarchs, and they didn’t stop killing until they were truly free. “Live free or die”, truly inspirational.
Give them time, they are volunteers.
The majority of my post history since the heroic slaying of Brian Thompson is removed and post_no_longer_exists
What moral highground are you trying to hold onto?
Here in America we have normalized supporting a genocide. We normalized slavery and torture in our prisons. We normalized extrajudicial killings of anyone we pin with the label “terrorist”.
Normalizing extrajudicial killings of our oligarchs is a step in the right direction and helps to fix all the other problems. We need more heroes.
I guess the only way to enact real change in this country is to murder a billionaire…
I’m hoping for much more real change in this country, and I support anyone with enough heroism to murder a CEO.
Remember when Biden addressed the nation after Oct 7 and said he saw pictures of 40 beheaded babies? What a shocking, unnecessary lie.
Biden did this to himself.
What’s the point of having Democrats when they just act like Republicans anyway?

As a person past that breaking point, I gotta say that I do endorse this. Whatever his motives may be, the shooter is a hero. America is desperate for justice, we need so much more of this.
No, the point was not to shoot them.
A few CEOs dying from tarring and feathering would just be a happy little accident.
