Villains or antiheroes? Because this sounds like anti-heroes but villains are rather the people letting starving people die for profits.

How would you say they are villains? Some may classify as antiheroes, but like… they basically literally try to save people from extermination.
I mean the color:
Petrol (which is like half blue half turquoise and turquoise is half blue half green)
I’ve looked through the history and I could only find a post “it’s now unmoderated as well”. How did that happen in the first place?
Now do it by displaying the video directly in the terminal (using colored blocks and the line delete feature like progress bars do) before it’s executed.
Edit: Apparently, mpv can already be used for that, maybe you can use it as dependency :P
The detailed arm makes this even more horrifying
Installing Rust: curl --proto ‘=https’ --tlsv1.2 -sSf https://sh.rustup.rs/ | sh (source)
Installing Homebrew: /bin/bash -c “$(curl -fsSL https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Homebrew/install/HEAD/install.sh)” (source)
I understand that you find it infuriating, but it’s not something completely uncommon, even in high end projects :/
It’s funny that you write this because my initial reaction was and is the exact opposite: The categories should be something that cover what most dogs are, so that the children can actually circle one that really fits.
Hero? Which dogs would actually be considered heroes? Maybe one that saves a child from a burning building or something, but that’s basically nothing anyone can really circle.
Companion? That’s okay I guess, most dogs are companions (but not all)
Worker? Which dog is a worker? Maybe a police dog or something, but almost no normal pet dog people have.
So you can basically only circle companion, and what about dogs whose personalities don’t fit? I think the categories should be more realistic so that children aren’t disappointed nothing really fits or that their dog wouldn’t be as “good” as someone else’s.
Awesome :)
@Mickey7@lemmy.world @Krik@discuss.tchncs.de Hmm, this contradicts your statements.
Reminds me of the beginning of 2020
Uh what? I don’t think “a few Europeans on discord” is any representative way. Although I think we have a bigger west east decide (sometimes even per country), but in Western (or northern or even southern) Europe that’s definitely more accepted than in the US.
And European representative surveys have shown trump would have lost like 80:20 here.
Okay that’s just stupid
I don’t see why the concept should be unethical.
In practice, of course it is insanely unethical as the algorithms are designed to maximize view time which leads to algorithmic radicalization and hate spreading more quickly, but the concept of an algorithm knowing and learning what you like and selecting for you itself isn’t unethical.
Basically the I am an asshole - card
Yeah, but that… doesn’t really matter. So it doesn’t really make sense to post that here, especially with that headline.
