Well, yeah, I get that, even if I don’t find those episodes bad myself, but I do think episode two, Bojack Hates the Troops, is a really good satirical episode that shouldn’t be missed.

Is there a possibility that it’s an issue with the desktop Firefox? Maybe it’s sending “garbage” to Sync due to profile corruption, etc. The passwords in your desktop Firefox work fine? Maybe try clearing its cache, if you haven’t already, or go nuclear by creating a new profile, then set it up as you want, and adding your passwords, then using that new profile to see if you can sync your passwords, etc. Sorry, but other than that drastic action, I’m out of ideas.
One other thing, do your browser history and bookmarks sync?
Ouch, that’s not good.
Have you tried force stopping and deleting the cache in Firefox for Android? Maybe you might need to clear its data and reinstall Firefox for Android again, which might force Sync to work. It’s possible your profile is corrupted. You might well lose some settings if Sync doesn’t repopulate, but it seems that you’ve already lost stuff due to Sync not working.
My desktop Firefox syncs my passwords to Firefox for Android quite well.
However, yeah, I do think that Firefox’s development over the years has gone a bit awry with the attempt to out-Chrome Chrome. It’s still the best browser out there, though.
Why not try to convince yourself by actually trying it for a week. Do your own hands-on research, as you’ll have a better appreciation of the browser. It’s not as if your device is going to explode if you try something other than Brave.
Also works on Beta now.
In terms of privacy, then Firefox wins. Performance probably goes with Chrome, but not as much as it used to be to be a real concern for most users. Firefox has improved itself on performance over the years. Also, Firefox isn’t planning on crippling its extensions to the extent that it affects the quality of ad-blockers, etc.
Yeah, I presume it’s that, too, although it doesn’t seem to affect Vivaldi, so could just be the way that Firefox reacts to the Lemmy issue.
Oh well, I look forward to Lemmy 0.18.
Seems a very odd situation. I doubt it’s your connection, as you’re able to log into Lemmy with Chrome.
Have you tried deleting Firefox’s cache in Settings>Apps>Firefox? Quit Firefox, then delete its cache, then restart it.
So much stuff about so many topics in many different communities. Then it all went sour, and I’m now here.
That really can’t be it, at least for me it isn’t. I’m logged in with Firefox for Android, so I then try logging on with Vivaldi (Chrome based browser), and I’m able to also log in fine and use both at the same time.
Maybe you just got unlucky with a busy server when trying to log in.
Firefox.
I’ve been using it since the Phoenix days. I occasionally go to Vivaldi (which is currently my secondary browser), but currently I’m back with Firefox.
That’s a weird bug about the volume key. Can’t say that I’ve noticed that. I’ve heard that the volume button can fall out, but obviously this physical issue isn’t the case for you, as you can still use it to screen capture.
When you restart the phone, does the volume button control the volume again?
Pixel 7.
I know that a few others have had problems with this phone, but it’s been fairly solid for me. Camera is great, too.
Now that I’ve said that, I’ve probably jinxed it, and will RMA it tomorrow…
My manwich!
All my cars, bar one, have been manual transmission, as is my current one. To be honest, as I’m lazy, I do prefer auto, but it’s easier to buy a car with manual transmission here in the UK, as you have more options.
