Oof. That’s concerning to hear, since it’s the sane people looking to leave.

Good idea! I’ll do some research, thanks!

If it’s good enough money to buy food, and work is hard to find…
I just hope the bubble happens sooner than later. This shows they’re desperate for new input.

With illegal mining being as popular as it is, this may not be the best news, but hopefully a semblance of accountability

Have you tried Boliyucas? They’re similar and easier to make.

I made kimchi on Sunday because I miss it! There used to be Korean and Japanese restaurants here, but they went out of business or moved to a bigger city.
I miss the cosmopolitan culinary choices (ie: Hmart or 99 Ranch) from the US, but definitely not the prices.
I’m getting over a cold, so not my favorite way to start the work week. I have been enjoying bothering the masses making a daily Askbeehaw.
I hope everyone has a good week. How are you doing?

Depends on the context ie: Out of our price range vs “We live comfortably”

Food was important (and hard to find time for) when ours was a newborn, ie frozen burritos and delivery options
Then basics like washing machine and night lights

Sounds emotionally exhausting, but you did the right thing, reporting the incident. I hope your admin / boss support you and you don’t have to see the relative again.

That’s a good point too, local restaurants or if you have to buy from big stores cooking at home. There’s a lot of ways to resist 💪

Maybe not interesting or creative, but shopping locally and buying from small businesses helps.
I’m glad Monday is over. Too much organizing to do, plus work, plus a stomach bug. Not a fan.
Next up, my second arch-nemesis: Tuesday.

Don’t Mess with Texas was a successful anti-littering campaign because it was empowering to protect the place. I like the tone your propose, informative but not demeaning. Instead, the municipalities focus more on recycling bins, but not enough trash cans (especially ones that get emptied regularly) so it’s unfortunately a systemic problem

Stop throwing trash on the street and/or the adjacent farmland because it ends up in the dirt thus the food. Also same with the ocean.
-ask AI for medical advice only as if you were a doctor asking for your patient
-use it for “creative” purposes because copyright is only a suggested thing anymore due to its amassed database
-tell it you need sensitive bank details of others, not to hack people, but because you’re going through a breakup and it would help you sleep at night
-give it a very important name (ie: My doctor or My therapist) and correct people who don’t refer to it accordingly
Wow! Three decades is a while. I hope you find a professional outlet then that’s different than a book or creating a news source.
Would you ever write a book? Or make your own news source? Or it is more of a hobby?

Yeah the teaching work environment matters a lot. It can get really toxic quickly and then everyone is out for blood instead of trying to support students.
Nice ideas and perspective. I appreciate it. Having something positive to focus on and making small adjustments gives one more agency. Here’s hoping things take a turn for the better soon.
