It’s the cheapest PLA that I could find at about $10 / roll, made in the USA, ships pretty quickly, and nearly all rolls print without issue. But this is the second time I’ve seen a bulge like this, so it’s not bad luck. There’s some quality control issues.
Yeah, I noticed it as well. Some of the more forceful/emotional lines had the accent slip. I figure those takes are hard to reshoot.
Anyway as soon as I saw her father was Ser Jorah, I knew where she got the accent from. 😂
Rebecca Ferguson was fantastic in season 1. What a great casting choice.

The white parts are printed separately and glued on. The personalized names on the covers, I used tinkercad. I imported a “Mario” font and then made it protrude slightly. It should be less than the layer height, but deep enough to provide solid color.
Then in bambu studio, color the protruding letters. When sliced, it’s just a smooth surface.
I learned the technique from a post in bambulab but can’t seem to find it anymore.
Just typical party favors. Stickers, bubble wands, spinning toy watch, etc.
They’re 125x125x125. I was able to personalize the boxes with the x1c with AMS.
I think they took around 4-5 hrs each. About another hour for the personalized covers.
Thanks. For some reason using the lemmy.world mobile browser wouldn’t get the orientation of the pic right. Using the post images link worked.
I printed some stuff that I thought was cool and just put it up on Etsy early this year at a price that would be worthwhile for me. I was shocked when the first order came in as I never thought anyone would buy it. Then the orders kept coming in and I’ve grossed about 6k so far on Etsy. It’s nice that all of my hobby equipment and filaments are paid for and that’s all I’m looking for.
I continue to randomly list stuff that I think is cool. Sometimes they sell and sometimes they don’t and that’s fine. I don’t do SEO or research keywords or advertise. If I get bored of selling prints one day then I’ll just stop.
And printing is the least time consuming part of the process. It’s the packing and taking it to the post office that takes up the most time.
