  • Minecraft community. Love the game. Community turned into a bunch of toxic self-righteous a-holes. I had the displeasure of hosting a pvp server. Most people were alright but it only took a charismatic unemployed 20+ year old to rally half the server against the owner because we wouldn’t ban their enemies from the server.

And the wider community that just whine that not every update is the Nether Update or Caves and Cliffs. Mojang messed up with 1.19, but it’s not that big of a deal and they seemed to have learned their lesson. (except for chat reports… Eugh) The Minecraft movie actually looks fun, just had a bad first trailer. So what if it fails. It won’t impact my enjoyment of the game. You can’t really add too much onto Minecraft because you can easily screw up the game. For example, using fireworks to boost elytra was a small feature in a pretty minor update, but I think it was one of the worse decisions, as it ruined any incentive for transport infrastructure.

fetus, it’s weird that you insist on the incorrect spelling

Ah, typical yankee scum. Always thinking they are the world police, white supremacists thinking they control morality. Coming up with cruel ideologies like “let’s murder unborn children” “Let’s have school shootings” “let’s make people pay for healthcare.” “Let’s invade other countries”. “Let’s fund mass terror campaigns against people we disagree with”. Have you seen your clown election? Seems you’re even trying to get rid of free school meals. You lot are always expecting the world to think and act in accordance with your ways. Even down to trying to force your own system of spelling on us.

Anyway, cancer cells are a life. But we know it’s not a human life. A human doesn’t die whenever they are removed either, in fact, a human life is typically prolonged when they’re removed.

The divinity of Jesus was affirmed at the first Council of Nicea in 325ad. 3 people out of the 318 attendants denied Jesus’ divinity. It was already a consensus, the council was just to solidify it. It was hardly considered debatable. That’s like claiming that “If the bald eagle was America’s national bird since 1776, then why did it only get solidified in law in 2024”. The bald eagle wasn’t invented as the national bird in 2024, it was simply made official.

That’s not up to you. All scripture is God breathed. Are you saying that God would allow his one and only true word to be mistranslated so poorly? Shame on you.

There are several examples of mistranslations happening in major bible translations. Having this superstitious view about it being impossible to do a bad translation of the Bible is completely rubbish.

It says that she shall be free to conceive. How can you be free to conceive if you’re pregnant? You cannot conceive a child when pregnant. This scripture cannot be used in any way to justify abortion. You started on a poor translation of it from a disreputable translation (The NIV, often nicknamed the “Not Inspired Version”) and are now clutching at straws because I pointed out that it was clearly incorrect.

If you are absolutely certain the foetus cannot survive, and carrying it to term will give the mother a high probability of dying after giving birth due to physical complications, then an abortion is a valid medical procedure. However, this accounts for less than one percent of abortions, so unless we are arguing against that, it’s not a valid talking point.
