I’ve tried Portuguese, continental and English but stayed with continental. Getting purls down with even tension and not hurting my wrist took some time but got there in the end

Both comments are showing for me! Thanks for that, the cable jumper I’m doing right now is a merino/acrylic blend and it’s getting very heavy and thick so I’m getting a bit anxious about how wearable it’ll be. I guess it’s all learning.

Well that’s good to know! I won’t look out for her when I read the books lol.

I’ve not read the books so I’ve got nothing to compare it to, I’m defintely going to go and read them after I’ve finished season 2 though.

I’ve been enjoying it, not quite as much as the first season but it’s still fun to watch. The whole Empire thing is good, they’ve made some interesting character choices for Demerzel which I’m not really into, they don’t happen in the book though from what I’ve read.

It’s taken a real turn and there are a bunch of new characters in it, I like most of them and it feels like the plot is moving forward swiftly with their scenes. The spacers show up more and are really, really cool. I hope we learn more about them.

I’m thinking it’s generally okay but I’ve not read the books and I’m fairly easy to please though

This is the same with my last ex. I quit and left, invited him to come with me but he chose drugs. I don’t think he’s dead but I’ve had to block him on all channels, every come down he calls begging me to take him back saying he’ll change. I’m not sure he ever will because I don’t think he wants to change, drugs gives him something to feel awful about and that’s what he wants/feels he deserves.

Absolutely no regrets on my part even though I thought we were going to get married one day.

I’m the same, looking straight at it all I can see is white and gold. Like a bright gold even, it’s not even brown.

If I look at it in my peripheral vision it’s very clearly blue and black though 🤷.
