The sound of Musk is music to my ears. He is an incompetent and overconfident. A great way to get nothing done. Of course voters do not hold politicians to their promises, but if they did hiring Musk would be a great way to ensure failure.

Unfortunately I am identifying more and more with the Russians. It’s becoming increasingly clear that most of my fellow citizens are not interested in the fact that we are slipping into autocracy/idiocracy, and it is also affecting my motivation to do something about it. It’s partly the way that non-Trump campaigns are run. They hire a ton of pollsters/consultants that do focus groups to find out voters points of view. They never consider the scenario in which a good candidate can change the worldview of the voters. So it sounds like the candidate never had an original thought in the world, when voters actually want a leader.
I think you are touching on some real issues, BUT the Harris campaign never said that the economy was doing great. They very deliberately avoided that message (though Biden was very different).
They are taught to few the world as a zero sum game. What they do not realise is that they are the losers.

Sorry I did not mean to both-side it. I am well aware that a union push will never come from the GOP. The main point was that because everything has become politicized there are no independent voices that can call for a national strike. If you want to dive deeper into why all is politicised you obviously come back to the conservative sphere (FOX, etc), so this is definitely not a both sides are bad argument.
Yes, but it is really inefficient. If we simply ignore the nuke threat it would probably take the US a month of bombing to restore pre 2014 borders.
I am guessing that outside of the frontlines bombings are still fairly rare events. Risk is low enough for installing proper windows, but high enough to ensure there are not enough.
The first problem is the polarisation. If people that are perceived to be Democrats call out a general strike, 50 percent won’t participate. Vice versa if perceived GOP does this. The polarisation and politicisation of every topic is what stops you from organising effectively.
