It gets bad, I’ve met people in some card shops that have just unholy hygiene.

Can confirm, I’m an idiot and I have a couple machines running various distros.

That point in time was when the number of new things in life diminished to sporadic events. New things stand out and feel longer, repetition and same ol blurs and becomes irrelevant to memory and thusly disappears making time seem to “fly by”

If you do a ton of new things you’ve never experienced there’s still the possibility of having an “endless summer” such as the ones people often fondly recall from their youth.

The problem often is that when young, basically everything is new, getting a bike and being able go visit a gas station is a new thing, but as an adult, visiting a gas station, even if a new one, has enough same ol to become irrelevant’d by the brain.

I’m pretty sure it’s already corporate policy to not question people abour fake bills or do anything to stop shoplifters (because insured and liability). Wouldn’t be surprised if a new corporate policy crops up if something like that does happen

There’s that and the “this could be useful later” mentality. Things like empty cans, bread ties, old computer bits, loose tools etc. And though I’m not even close to hoarder (more of a minimalist) saving some stuff has really come in handy, like old cables or aforementioned bread ties

It’s one of those situations where big money will use illegal or unfair means to sway or change law, then tell the people to “play by the rules” or “do it the right way” after having changed it to be heavily in their favor. Most people will try to do it the “right” way too as it’s the only realistic option. Until it is so unreasonable that other methods end up being more palatable.

TBH I always wondered why people were shooting up malls and schools instead of the people who actually cause the societal conditions they’re upset with

I’m under the assumption it healed on it’s own. The pain is gone and hasn’t come back, although I haven’t lifted nearly as intensely since. I have access to a nurse outside of a hospital so they helped me keep tabs on it, took something around 1.5 months to heal up though.

The dichotomy of how resilient or fragile our bodies are is wild. I like your analogy of various consistencies of jello.

Well on the bright side you found out about the hernia, hopefully before it was a serious issue and got it fixed.

While working out I apparently tore a bit of some lining that surrounds the organs, it just happened to be near where the gallbladder is. 0/10 would not recommend, breathing and moving hurt a lot.

I’d assume there are those safeties and interlocks, you’d always want that, a thumbdrive with a program that disables it is just as easy and not a “bug” which is what I was getting at. But yeah, it’s unlikely most cargo ships would want that probably. I’m simply playing devils advocate because they do seem to have them, so how or why in the most reasonable sense is all I’m arguing.

This is the first year I’ve ever spent any real money on Black Friday. I bought HexOS lifetime, a couple games, and a monitor that was actually price dropped. Though the monitor was a impulse buy due to a friend raving about it

I hate going to hospitals, especially in cities. They really don’t seem to care unless they can physically see how injured you are. I saw an independent nurse and a walk in clinic before they both said to go to the ER when I tore something inside my abdomen. Waited 15 hours to be seen, struggled to breath without pain, and passed out from pain during the Xray. The Dr said I passed out from anxiety and sent me home with nothing and no advice.

One of the absolute worst experiences I’ve had at a hospital, and all I wanted was to make sure it wasn’t my gall bladder. Of course they also charged the obscene US prices too

Males stab the females with their genetalia (literally stab as there is no opening) and ejaculate into the cavity. Then hopefully it gets carried through the blood stream and ends with successful insemination.

My other thought behind it was also not necessarily that it is it’s own device/explosive but more so along the lines of “we will intentionally run this poorly to cause itself to self destruct.” Akin to running a car engine untuned and without a radiator then full throttling it.

Someone may have just developed a program that tells the engines to do that so you wouldn’t exactly need anything physically installed to have it work.

I always though the point was “This is secret/must not be given to the enemy” so destruction is a better option than having it seized
