The shorts should be cargo shorts, and he should be wearing sandals with socks too.
Grandma, you know better. Everyone was just as horny and kinky back then as they are today. You’re STILL horny and kinky Grandma!
Women can be difficult recognize if they share one or two similar features. I blame it on the makeup the wear. Danes and Paltrow are skilled in using makeup and can use it to alter their looks a lot.

5·2 days agoAhh yes, the “make it so only Bezos and Musk can afford firearms for their minions” approach to gun control.

24·2 days agoThey actually have all the gun laws they need. They just don’t really bother to enforce them, and they enjoy just adding more useless laws on top of the pile they already have. They need to look good “thinking of the children” and pander to their voting base.
This time though, it’s about surveillance and right to repair things you bought and paid for everyone disguised as “gun control”. A slippery slope many gun owners have warned the rest of you about for years now.
SUSE has always kind of been of an also ran in the eyes of a lot of users. I have tried the stable versions before Tumbleweed and I have even used Tumbleweed for a while. It’s a solid choice and the user base is awesome.
I really, really, wanted to love SUSE, but there is just something about it that I just don’t vibe with. It’s a good distro and offers a lot. But it’s just a bit uncomfortable like a suit jacket that doesn’t quite fit right through the shoulders.
When you surf the oceans of Distros long enough, I think you just get tired and the wanderlust fades. I know I did. Mint is a fine Distro, the Toyota Camry of distros. Solid and dependable with all that you need. It just doesn’t look cool to all the hip-cat kids and their bleeding edge Arch.
I have settled on Fedora. And I prefer Plasma over Gnome, so I use Kinonite instead. There is even less hassle and effort that way. I don’t even go to the bother of doing updates myself. It all happens in the background. Like you, I just want to use my computer. Not fiddle with it anymore
The Muppets are good. Very entertaining for all ages. But these remakes are nothing but a money grab. No new story line, a few rewrites, toss in a few jokes, get nostalgic movie goers to buy tickets and make a bunch of money.
The Muppets are more than good enough to deserve their own new stories and not just rehashed garbage.
Brands mean a lot less than people think. Most brands are just relabeled filaments. A couple phone calls and you to can have your own brand of filament. Nor are there aren’t that many make lines in the world. And the base stock comes from an even smaller handful of manufacturers.
I have yet to meet a filament that I couldn’t get to print decently, and I have a very low taste in filaments. The cheapest of the cheap! Some of them took extra effort, but in the end I got what I wanted from them.
Yeah, I find I have some confusion about drawn pictures and even photographs of naked children from back in the day.
Is that 300 year old painting of naked cherubs CP? We don’t know if the painter was a pedo or not. Or is that “cute” photo of me that my Grandmother took of me running bare-assed naked away from my Mother through the house as a toddler because I didn’t want to have a bath CP? Or maybe it’s not because the photo is now 60+ years old and that was a different time? What would the same photo taken by Grandma today be considered?
What makes the difference? And when do we apply that difference to make the determination?
Huh, I just learned something new, “lolicon”, thanks to your explanation. I don’t get the attraction to it and I will need to consider what I think about the term, and it’s meaning. But at first exposure, I don’t think I like the idea.

101·3 days agoNo, No events like this are a good thing! It shows to the C-suite that AI isn’t a thing to be trusted in your company. We need more failures like this.
Yep. I’m old enough to remember doing nuclear attack drills in school a couple of times a school year.
There were 2 different drills, if there was a warning, and we had time we would all file out to a designated hallway, sit down with crossed legs facing the wall, head forward and hands clasped over your head with your eyes closed tight.
If there was no warning you either stayed in your desk, put your head down, closed your eyes tightly, and covered the back of your head with your hands. You could also slide under your desk, close your eyes, and cover your head. Pretty much the exact same drill schools still use today for tornados if you live in a tornado risk area.
As an old medic/firefighter, I cannot stress these drills enough. While they are designed to save lives, and they most definitely can, they also make it much easier to find the bodies because they will all be pretty much centrally located.
Perhaps, perhaps not. Separating a marriage after 25+ years is no easy thing. The sheer inertia can be impossible to overcome.
Don’t worry, you are heading into all of that as you age. It has ever been so.
