Thank god none of my friends or relatives ever were really Snapchat users. But I’m held hostage by WhatsApp in here.

Theres a tool named Android Universal Debloater. You don’t need root, only adb allowed. In the Debloater you will have the recommended appss to disable, but you can go forward.
Exactly what I use. Lately I’ve been testing the Kiwi Next browser as well.
As a Samsung user since OneUI 2, I quite dig Android 12+ looks. It helps with bigger screens. But the quick settings toggles are quite a waste of space that big, I agree. When using some ROMs you can reduce the toggles size, and it gets real better.
Aurora recognize the apps normally. No need to unistall them. It will work just like the Play Store.
I don’t believe there’s any reliable option besides Samsung Pay, but it’s locked to Samsung devices. Privacy-wise, I’m not aware of any solution.
Removing the Play Store would not uninstall any other app. But why would you want to uninstall the apps and then install from Aurora? Aurora get its apps from the Play Store, but anonymously.
It annoys the hell out of me as well. I haven’t found a workaround yet.
Android 14 is the most underwhelming updated yet. Google didn’t even promote it well on I/O. About OneUI 6, I just wish Samsung updates the control center. It’s too outdated. I know it’s simple and working well, but I would love some visual tweaks.
Mostly easy apk sideloading and customization. It’s the most versatile OS.
S20 FE user here. Pretty solid phone for the price I paid like almost 2 years ago. It’s still great and works marvelously for my usage.
Only downside I would say is custom ROM support, as there’s no working one and device support is about to end.
Oh yeah, that’s for sure. Messenger and Snapchat are more in the dark side.
