Ah thanks! I’ll look into that.

Technology@lemmy.world•Sync for Lemmy - Now Released on Play StoreEnglish
6·3 years agoDoes the connect app have comment navigation to jump to parent comments? I couldn’t find it for weeks and I’m now using sync because it’s so polished.

Android@lemmy.world•Sync for Lemmy is live on Google Play StoreEnglish
1·3 years agoIs that available yet, or he’s developing it? Or you have to pay ultra?
Edit: nevermind, found it on the sidebar not under settings.

Android@lemmy.world•Sync for Lemmy is live on Google Play StoreEnglish
101·3 years agoI paid for the sync app on Reddit back when it was like $2 or 5. I’m not paying $99 to remove ads. I know there are dev costs, but there aren’t any API costs here right?
I’ll still use Sync here until I see what Boost brings over it’s released.
Can I read drm free books on a Kindle?

Science Fiction@lemmy.world•Fan-fic based on Artemis by Andy WeirEnglish
1·3 years agoLoved PHM and was excited to see his other books but might skip Artemis from the comments I’ve read.
Did you watch the show? I just finished and now want to start the books from the beginning so I can get the full series, but it’s going to be a very long read.

Technology@lemmy.world•A Rivian owner was in a fender bender. The repair bill was $42,000.English
1·3 years agoDoesn’t the insurance have an onus in understanding of cost of repairs to vehicles they cover? How can they only offer$1600?
Also, I thought Tesla and others were also looking at these unibody designs for manufacturing purposes.

You Should Know@lemmy.world•YSK: You can use Libreddit instead of Reddit for more privacy and no ads (and no traffic/views for Reddit)
76·3 years agoI fully agree. I went a few weeks without reddit but decided I don’t need to be some noble reddit crusader. I downloaded the reddit app yesterday to visit once a day to check some major subs that I enjoyed and aren’t developed here (fantasy football, bourbon, etc). I still spend 90% of my time here, less than 5 or 10 minutes a day on reddit.
I was on Jerboa for a few days when I first came over, then jumped to thunder and Liftoff. The new update for Jerboa is awesome and I’m using it exclusively until Boost or Sync.

World News@lemmy.world•World’s richest people added $852 billion to their fortunes in the first half of 2023English
71·3 years agoI didn’t read the article, just the headline, but both can be true. They lost money but made a ton again. It’s no different than someone losing a huge amount in a 401k but then having even more money in the future by not selling and the market going back up.

Mildly Infuriating@lemmy.world•Chain restaurant fees are getting absurdEnglish
03·3 years agoI mean,it’s only a dollar. In general, tipping culture is our of control but I’m fine with nominal fees for local places. I know during covid, Chinese restaurants closed for awhile around us.

I just picked up reading again recently, so I have compiled a huge list of books to read. I watched the expanse, so probably want to get through my list before I think about reading the book series. Maybe the others seasons will be renewed by then.
