Have you looked into the teracuve and fairphone smartphones? They actually allow that and are designed for you to easily replace pretty much any part of the phone
Not sure that will ever be something for me. I can’t really see myself ever having a non-Pixel phone. Partially because I like the Pixel hardware. Partially because I like the “budget” pricing of the A-Series Pixels. And of course as a recent GrapheneOS user, Graphene only supports Pixel phones.
Yeah I feel you there, I thought about trying /e/ OS on murena but I really can’t leave GrapheneOS, microG doesn’t feel as secure as they claim it to be
I’ve looked into Teracube, but the specs are appallingly low and the company seems pretty dead right now. Fairphone looks really good. I was going to buy a Fairphone 3 a few years ago, but refrained due to concerns about cell service and warranty, since I live in the US. Plus, they removed the headphone jack. Hopefully, they’ll bring back the headphone jack soon.
