Tuvix was a mistake. Janeway corrected the mistake.

Tuvix “lives on” in the separate experiences of Tuvok and Neelix, who are back in their corrected states.

And, let me get a jump on the weak argument about using the Riker transporter accident to make a second Tuvix to split. Why is it okay to split that second Tuvix then? No. Janeway did what the others refused to do.

Yes, it was hard, it that’s why she’s the captain. The captain is the one who has to make the hard decision, and it was the right one.

Okay well you didn’t roll initiative, so I’m counting this as a surprise round. I cast stinking cloud cantered on you with a 20’ radius.

At the start of your turn you must make a concentration saving through dc 14 against poison. On a fail you spend your turn unable to take actions.

Listen here, son! I haven’t got my Trek DnD setup yet, so I’m not fully in the know.

But! I will not be outnerded! So, I cast Counterspell at 3rd level, which negated your Stinking Cloud before it materialized!

Tuvix was an accident. All life is an accident. Yours, mine, even planned babies, accidents. No one life is any less valuable than another simply because an accident blended two of them together. Fuckin a that’s what mitochondria is
