    Just so everyone’s on the same page, this is for the oil industry to boil more oil out of the sand and rocks. They might do a song and dance about green energy, and arguably it’s still “green-er” than burning oil to extract more oil, but whether they admit it or not this will support tarsands projects for sure. Alberta’s considered it too for the same reasons: steam-assisted-gravity-drainage is an extremely energy-intensive process. But with the UCP in power they prefer burning coal and oil to get more oil, because fucking the planet and the people on it is a huge part of the joy they get out of life.
