I hope it succeeds but that’s a *lot *of money to make up for.

I get that, but a production like this is a product of the hard work of literally hundreds if not thousands of people. It’s kind of shitty to slag off the whole thing just because of one asshole in the cast.

I can see how people feel like that and i sorta do too but i’m a huge DC fan. I’m gonna go in separating the art from the artist.

It is really an unknown on how it will do. The general audience barely seems to even know who Ezra Miller is, let alone their drama and why there is no media tour. The domestic audience has been burned on DCEU films and may not bother during a packed summer, especially for a franchise that is being rebooted.

Then there are the people that will not see the movie due to the shit Ezra Miller has done. That may not seem like a lot of people, but many of these people are people who are fans of DC comics and superhero movies. As a queer person, I worry the allegations against Ezra are going to be weaponized against the community in the current political climate.

The international audience is not as attached to the Flash character, but likes action movies, so that is a total wildcard. There are a lot of other movies to pull their money coming soon, so they may not go.

It also seems since WB went really hard with the previews and early screenings, many people have already seen this movie, so reviews from Youtubers and critics are out. There is no rush to see it since spoilers are already out there. Since so many reviews and plot points are already out, some may just wait until it hits streaming.
