What if we’re living in the hallucinatory dream of one of the conspiracy guys from the movie, “Slacker”. He’s about to wake up, and everything and everyone will be reset. If so, I’m going to set up shop at the Magnolia Cafe on Lake Austin Blvd., at the table with the red-checker, picnic-cloth pattern and the giant ants, and I am never, ever going to leave.
