How do they know it’s a Syrian underneath that costume?
Saddam Husain?
They’re holding a Syrian flag.
What the fuck is this timeline I’m in
One of the best of the worst.
“It was the best of times, it was the blursed of times.”
To borrow form MegaMind - I wouldn’t say “free”, but rather “under new management”.
if incorrect metre be something you wish
This is the happy timeline
It’s realigning slowly, but it is getting better. No one else has noticed that SyriaBob has long gloves and a sweatshirt? I would love to see a shot of the whole costume, it looks hand made.
Did anyone notice Taliban flag? Till now, I’ve seen it 3 times
- Beside the interim prime minister
- Behind Abu Mohammad al-Julani on CNN
- Friday in Umayyad Mosque on the BBC
You’re going to have to be more specific. There are some Islamic flags that are general use and not representing any one group.
It is very similar, but there are some differences. Such as the uprights being crossed on the right. If you look up HTS flags you can see they have some that are extremely similar but are rendered differently. They likely say the same thing, (the Islamic declaration of faith).
this is alternate flag of syrian transitional government, taliban shahada is written in different way (two diagonal lines in first part instead of three, different placement of diacritics etc) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Syrian_transitional_government
I am not an expert, but the Syrian transitional government look like Jihadist flag (color inverted, different placement of diacritics, etc) and the flag from news source look like Taliban (again different placement of diacritics)
i still think it’s white HTS flag, there would be little reason for taliban flag to be there https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flag_of_Syria
that shahada is written more like that on saudi flag and less like taliban, at least that’s how it looks to me (not an arabic speaker)
There might be a Krusty Krab in Syria - a few years ago I thought I saw an article about it but apparently that one was in Palestine.
Scansion, people! I don’t care who conquered what. We have standards!
