The real infuriating thing in this picture is the order of the books.
Putting them out 1, 2, 5, 4, 3 should be an actual crime. Like, straight to jail.
They aren’t out of order. They’re in order, clockwise.
I find that even more infuriating.
And they’re not even done! Useless as nipples on a breastplate, nuncle
It’s infuriating how 2 have title on top, author on bottom, then the rest are reversed.
I mean, given the glacial pace of writing, you can’t fault the printers that still has to use a Gutenberg press for their book looking different. 😅
We are 2 years away from there being more time between now and the last book being released and the time between the first and last book being released.
Give us the book george
He saw hiw HBOs take went down as was like damn i better make sure i don’t do that
Here’s an another uncomfortable statistic: most of ASOIAF was published before 9/11.
Personally I gave up after AFFC, which I read around a decade ago. The quality of writing had plummeted, and it was increasingly obvious the series is going to take way too long to be finished.
The guy should just give up, relive himself of the duty and the audiences of the frustration, and spend his remaining years peacefully writing Dunk and Egg stories.
Dunk and Egg for the win!
I also gave up after reading AFFC about a decade ago, with the intention of picking the series back up once the next book had released.
But at this point he’d have to finish the entire series before I’d even consider going back. And I doubt he’ll ever do that. I think eventually they’ll just get someone else to finish it.
I have given up on this series. I’m not even sure I would read the next book if it was released tomorrow. Maybe if the series is ever fully released I might reread it from the beginning to end. It’s like if Netflix published books.
GRRM was trolling all along.
People love stories, who has a better story than Bran The Broken?
Dang I wish we had more asoiaf art like whats on Clash of Kings and Storm of Swords
It is interesting to see the growth from generic fantasy book to international best seller and cultural phenomenon.
I think the ‘bestseller’ versions are way less interesting and more generic though.
Except…
