“Between 2009 and 2012, iPhones had a built-in “Send to YouTube” button in the Photos app. Many of these uploads kept their default IMG_XXXX filenames, creating a time capsule of raw, unedited moments from random lives. Babies doing cute things, aerobics classes, amateur drag races, pets looking confused, work presentations, friends hanging out, boats for sale, amateur marching bands… just people living their lives. Most of the videos have fewer than 15 views.

This somehow reminds me of the days of Earth Webcam was it called or something similar with access to public webcams around the world. It’s very humanizing.
