I’ve loved Beth Gibbons’ singing style? voice? ever since listening to Dummy many years ago. I recently found out she has a solo album coming out next month. I’ve not listened to any of her solo work before, she only has one other solo album from over 20 years ago from what I can tell. I don’t think it’s trip hop, but I’m going to try give it a listen soon.
Just listened to her latest single. Great as expected. Definitely in that trip hop vein. The video was like a mix of Winamp’s milkdrop visualizer and Juice Galaxy
