I don’t know Romanian law but it sounds like they seized his property without proving it was used in a crime. Let’s see how the retrial pans out.

Andrew Tate said a court will now have to demonstrate the wealth was acquired illegally

Not used in a crime, but bought with money made from criminal activity. He better hope he has all of his receipts in perfect order for everything he’s ever bought because they’re gonna be combing through everything. Also— this jackhole was dumb enough to record himself multiple times admitting and explaining how he got all of his money from trafficking people and how others could do the same!

Andrew Tate: ‘See, here you got your Bottom Bitch’ ‘Once you have that you pull in two more bitches’ and soforth.

I wouldn’t put too much stock in the romanian justice system to “comb through everything”. They can barely do that for local cronies and their offshore wealth. Besides, this smells like a stalling tactic.

Tate isn’t smart, but he isn’t stone stupid either.

If he hasn’t burned all of his connections to organized crime, he might be able to get backdated paperwork and legitimate papertrails for many of his assets.

Or maybe he’s smarter then I’m giving him credit for and he already took measures to launder, or otherwise legitimize the money used for his most valuable assets.

Isn’t he one of these people that no one would miss if he suddenly disappeared in an oil barrel off a continental shelf?
